Max's fault. Sitting in the blind spot all down the straight, not up far enough to claim the corner, fast corner with a single line.
https://the-race.com/formula-1/algarve-track-limits-rules-eased-after-125-friday-offences/ This shit is stupid. Force the drivers to stay in the track instead of allowing them to make up the course as they feel fit.
George Russell made €150,000 last year. €350,000 this year. That's like Hamilton's salary for a qualifying session or something. Fuckin' Frank Williams…
Unbelievable. Teams are spending half a billion on a season and some drivers are hardly making anything. That is just completely unacceptable.
So did the Ferrari’s of the early 2000s, Mclarens of the late 80s, Williams of the early 90s, etc. People need to get over it as it’s been this way for almost their entire lifespan now.
Well, it looked like a race for about the first five laps. Something has to change when there are only 4 cars on the lead lap at the finish. Way too much discrepancy. Looking forward to the Indy Car finale today.
Seriously. The racing now is closer than F1 has ever been. Indy is a psuedo spec series, like NASCAR. Nothing wrong with that, but that’s not F1 (yet).
Yeah exactly. And with f1 like you said it's always been like this with a team getting it right with the car, or in this case with Mercedes the last couple years the engine.
LOL. Motion, He’s not Lewis but he’s exactly what Mercedes needs. Someone who can put it on the podium almost every race. Look at Leclerc / Vettel and Verstappen / Albon to see how that could be going. He also made the Williams look way better than it really was at the time.
It is good, but he’s always within 1 or 2 places from Lewis. What’s the usual split between Max / Albon and Leclerc / Vettel, 6+?! It’s not nearly as good as the 92/93 Williams was or the 88/89 Mclarens relative to the competition.
I mean, frickin Nico Rosberg beat Ham to a championship. What would we think of Schumacher if Barichello had beat him?
Cars back in the 80's and 90's had severe reliability issues. No so much these days. The cars are pretty much bullet-proof, so when one manufacturer is 1-2 for 6 years in a row, and then 2nd place driver is consistently finishing in 2nd, I believe there should be a very large asterisk next to the championship.
