The person who took me on the track for the very first time. He will be missed terribly by many and my heart and prayers go out to his Anna ,family and close friends. Gone but not forgotten. They live on in our memories and I still believe they don’t leave us. We just can’t see them .
So for those who don't know already, Pete Xenakis was killed in a crash yesterday. We're all just in shock at this point. He really was a great guy who'd help anyone and loved riding motorcycles. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife and family and every at the track working through this today.
R.I.P., racer. I hope I don't have to say this again this year. Condolences to Pete's family and friends.
Damn. Didn't know him, but terrible to hear. Another racer was badly injured, nearly killed yesterday here in SoCal. A CVMA racer on his way to a track day driving down I-5 yesterday morning was hit head-on by a wrong way driver. Doesn't sounds certain he's going to pull through, he's in very bad shape. Life is crazy man, it can all change so fast.
RIP Pete and condolences to family. Always nice to me any time we met and an RC51 guy. Hope he went peacefully as possible.
