I'm a bass boat kinda guy. The most ideal boat I've found is a mid 90's Alumacraft Phantom. Rides like a bass boat, but aluminum.
the gf is almost begging me to get a boat because she knows that means ill have stopped racing and she'd rather go fishing than hang out at the race track. when that finally happens, ill get a center console boat that I can take on the 15mi trip to Mexican waters. probably something in the 20-24ft range. I doubt ill buy new, so who knows what model.
You have to get the lifted F350 duallie running full mud tires to tow it with - preferably with stacks coming through the bed.
The twin turbo F150 will pull it just fine. I finally got the issue mostly sorted... Walnut blasting, and then checking the shop's work, and having to re-install a stripped sensor that was coming loose.
You don't seem to understand. If you're going the "I need four speakers mounted on the tower to be cool" boat you need the coal rolling lifted "look at how much money I'm willing to spend on a pickup that never goes off road" truck to go with it
Is the lake really a place where everyone needs to listen to your tunes? On mine the speakers mounted inside the boat worked great for everyone actually on the boat.
There's one of these for sale near me for cheap. 300hp and the simplicity of a jet ski. I keep telling myself I can't justify the purchase (except I can). I could probably sell it in two years for what I buy it for and essentially use it for the cost of gas.
I have the dream of building/restoring a riva style boat but 30ft with a nice v8/10/12 in it. One day
