As far as Kid Rock it's a nice persona. He seemed like a genuine nice guy. Checked him out a couple of Harley's several times at different rally's. Was always appreciative and I also got some good back stage passes.

I met him numerous times while he was a rapper (not a rocker) about 5-6 years before he truly blew up and he shared his weed and generally came off as a nice guy. Also worked in and around the Detroit auto industry for a lot of years and had many clients who lived up north where he's from and they had nothing but good things to say. Kid Rock today is 100% image though and I don't believe for one second that he is the guy that people who want him to run think he is. He's not Ted Nugent, just siphoning off of his pipeline. He wanted to be Eminem until he realized that didn't get him any further than Toledo.

All told though, not sure why he'd be any worse than anyone else. At least the guy has seen the masses and mingled among them.
