I really hope that the person he seemed to become is not the end result of American success.

How is being a loudmouth on the radio an innovator? Wasn't Imus before him?

A guy who believed in American exceptionalism and pride in one's work. I remember the "Rush rooms" that many restaurants had for the lunchtime crowd to listen to his show. From going national until today, he was always the top, if not at the absolute top, radio personality in the country. As such, his values were mirrored by many in this country. Very much an American Patriot.

You really want to start that conversation Spanky? :D

There's no conversation to have. He was a loudmouth, he was not an innovator. Pandering to an audience has been going on in this country since pre colonial times. Agreeing with the loudmouths doesn't make them something special (nor you which is really what people want out of it all).

    Mongo can indeed troll... :D

That said, I agree with him in this case. Pretty much 'Click Bait' radio.... (Speaking of trolling)

And BTW, only Graham Chapman truly deserved a funeral 'Good riddance'. Prove me wrong!

Exactly. His being good or bad is nothing more than opinion. Nothing tangible to point at and go "he did that".

He rejoiced in or mocked the deaths of others enough that I think he's earned the same.
