Gonna have to disagree. There will always be nutjobs (like he San Jose shooters) but the overwhelming majority of them hate because their lives suck so much. With no job, no future, no obligations, etc, it's easy to get embroiled in the "promises" of the religion and get suckered in by the imams that spread the hate. In Afghanistan, the "fighters" switched sides constantly depending on who was paying them at the moment.
