    2001 Suzuki GSX-R600

I started next to last in a 42 bike MW solo 20, 3 waves, I could barely see Chuck with the flag. I finished 20th and felt like I had won the race. My lap times were not that bad for my 1st time ever to race, somewhere in the 1:08~9 range.

Last race was Mosport in 1987. Nasty crash in T2 while in third place in Pro 250. Only Corndog and Inglis were ahead of me. I decided to quit before I stopped rolling.

Didn't set a tire on the track again until 2001. Hey! A new thread awaits!! "When did you quit racing and why?"

I have not raced yet, but I plan to this year. You'll probably see me in V6HW at Bever Run in September on a 97 FZR600 Hybrid.

1983 Roebling on a RD 400. Siezed in riders school and everytime I took it to the track. If John Wescott is reading this how are you. I used to race out of Knoxville on a GPZ 750. Are you racing any? If you all don't know John was the fastest person in the SE and NEver crashed. Ever.

... 1962 downhill in a trailer park in Huntsville Alabama. I was on a push-pedal go-cart and my older brother was in a Western Flyer red wagon. We both crashed out before reaching the finish line.

Seriously though, my first race was just last year in June, 2006 at TGPR. I may be an old man but at least I finally managed to fulfill this childhood dream.
