What's the point of having that pipeline all the way from the Rookies Cup if the winners don't get promoted to MotoGP at the end?

So what we know at this point, overall is that D. Binder, Dovi, and Gardner are out of MotGP and A. Fernandez is in with a net loss of 2 riders from the grid, due to the exit of Suzuki. I am afraid I don't see much of a net loss to the talent pool of the grid.

I’m just being a smart ass. They should do exactly that. I am starting to believe the success of their Moto2 program is masking the actual talent level of their riders. That or Tech3 is really, really bad.

Simon is interviewing Pit(t?) during P3 tomorrow, he will apparently broach the Remy subject...

Like the existence of GM and Chevy trucks. Marketing to the stupid, that's all.

Yeah, valid analogy I guess, but have GM and Chevy ever campaigned separate teams simultaneously in a sanctioned racing series?

I'm pretty sure they're getting more bang for their buck by having two different brands represented in motoGP vs having four KTMS on the grid.........law of diminishing returns and all that jazz.

Interesting, as announcers would generally contrast the way Fernandez was a sulky little beetch to how "professional" Gardner was in comparison.

I was thinking maybe SCORE trophy truck, but not as factory teams? Even there it was mostly Chevy.

I would imagine years ago in NasCrap when there where Chevys, Pontiacs, Buicks, Oldsmobile, etc. I’m not really a fan to know if in the 50-80’s when GM had all those brands how many teams/brands they supported?

They definitely had factory backed Chevy and Buick teams in Napcar.
