They were tasked with finding Russia's influencing of the election and any crimes that lead from that investigation. They are still within their bounds. They are finding crimes have been committed. Some of them involve the Russians. I believe that some of the people indicted have worked for the Clintons. Trump is just shouting "Witch Hunt" to create a distraction. Nothing new there. Whenever Trump does something like this I usually try to dig and see what actual change he is making and trying to keep at the back of the news cycle.
My point is, if people on her team were going to prison and there was an investigation into her, you all would be totally behind it. It all comes down to who your guy is. Why is it so inconceivable that Trump or his team might have done something wrong? Or is it now that if you like someone's policies nothing else matters?
Does it not bother any of you lefties that this whole investigation was started based on made up/cooked up evidence by a corrupt FBI and the Clinton camp? You're seeing the deep state desperately trying to overthrow a duly elected president over the false pretense of "Russian collusion". They (the deep state) do not like it when the voters stick a non-insider in the oval office. But ya, go ahead and cheer them on. You probably don't care about your vote mattering anyway.
What doesn't bother me is that they are finding crimes and prosecuting them. As was mentioned, some indicted haven't been in any way connected to Trump. It's only a Trump witch hunt if you think it ends with him being guilty. It's "draining the swamp" so far as I'm concerned. Probably true, but they very likely would have lost the case. She is unfortunately smart enough in her statements to create reasonable doubt. That in no way means the Mueller investigation should stop of course. Nice attempt at deflection.
The “libs” and “deep state” target Trump to get him out of office, but they let him run wild with the EPA, Interior, State, Education, Defense ect because their only power is malicious prosecutions of his ancillary people. . .who are pleading guilty or being found guilty. . .makes sense. I find it funny, till the plea deal, his story didn’t change. It this point, Cohen is trying to reduce jail time by implicating Trump.
