RIP and condolences to those people and families.

The guy was literally shooting into a bucket of fish.. 32 stories up and 400 yards away with an automatic weapon.. they were all just sitting ducks

I said the same thing. To be honest, those large hotels have big lobbies, and they're pretty chaotic with people checking in, checking out, coming and going. Plus, they have probably 15 different ways in or out. I could see being able to get things in and out - partially disassembled. Probably in suitcases or bins... With all of the conferences and stuff in Vegas, people probably wouldn't bat an eyelash at someone with a collapsible hand truck stacked with rubbermaid bins headed for an elevator.

The bell hops would probably be more than happy to help with with your trunk of equipment for your vendor display. I doubt they X-ray them on the way up to your room.

I'm curious about the weapons used. In the video clips I've seen, the cyclic rate of fire is slow for a full auto. Was this one of those stupid triggers that fire on pull and reset? Bumpfire stock? One of those retarded handcrank triggers? The machine guns that I've fired all cycled much faster...very curious.

I'm guessing a bumpfire stock. Sure sounds like it.

Where have you been. I honestly thought people like you do not exist especially on this forum. Wow. Truth never spoken so clearly on this forum. Very sad to the people that died but if America is not welling to address the problems ( on left or right) , what people would do here will make isis stuff look like child games.

    • Police have identified the shooter as Stephen Paddock, a 64-year-old man. He was earlier described as a "local resident."

    • Police said they are confident they have located Marilou Danley, who was traveling with the suspect. She had been sought for questioning in connection with the shooting. She is not named as a suspect.

FOX news just had a person that was at that hotel recently for a "security conference".

He was in the hotel since Thursday... that's 3+ days to bring in stuff. I dont think it would be too terribly difficult to bring enough stuff in over a 3 day span

No idea what his motivation was, but if he turns out to be an LWN, he'd have been hard pressed to find a more target rich environment than a country music concert.
