That's been happening for years. And I think Freddie Spencer won his last AMA race at Laguna in those conditions. I was there and the AMA asked if I had enough rains to offset the lack of rains brought by my competitors. And I said ofcourse!

 

1995, I believe. Freddie Spencer won Superbike.

 

Yeah. It was neat to watch.

These days, we're the people that bring all the rains to save the paddock.
