Was 24 before I bought my 1st car...it can be done. the question is, What's more important, the money or the convienence?
I went in January and dealt with 6-8 foot seas so we couldn’t do the near shore roosters, but they’re there. I released more than two dozen BIG pacific sails in three days and lost one blue marlin. Saw a school of yellowfins but the seas kept us from getting in front of it.
Something wrong with you I’d get checked, skin shouldn’t be purple. I’ve been up since about midnight so had a head start on being a smart @ss.
Couldn't even if I tried. 25miles to work, 6 miles to the closest store (not a big grocery store, more large convenience store). 10 miles to the closest shopping area. Oh, and there is that thing called snow that makes the bike useless for 3-4 months a year.
Ever tried 2 wheels on ice/snow? Knobbies with ice studs would be required, but there is still the dumb uncontrolled cage drivers to deal with. You think the roads are scary when they are dry when riding on 2 wheels, icy roads would be certain death.
Turned in my last lease in March of 2012. My walk to work is less than 10 minutes, I have an FZ09 for fun and visiting friends and family and my bar is in between work and home.
um what?? http://www.timbersled.com/en-us Im sitting here soaking wet from this mornings commute on the meep meep.
I have been carless for almost a year. Public transportation, Enterprise, Uber, friends, and Shank's mare have been used to get around. FYI, you can get a no-car policy from the insurance co that will allow you to rent cars and not pay their overpriced insurance. Depends on if you rent enough verses the cost of the policy. It will also help get ins if you decide to buy again.
