Is Bush your boy? If he is, i can post some rather amusing things he has said over the years. For Christmas I got one of the tear-off daily calanders entitled "Bushisms" or something like that. I've only seen a few but they are truly funny. whatever you have to say about Bush, you have to admit that public speaking is not his forte.

True, but the "Bushisms" people have had several years to collect those from perhaps the world's most public figure who's every mis-speak is catalogued. I'm sure anyone could be made to look stupid under such circumstances.
The Wesley Clark quote is more telling, he was asked several times in succession to clarify what exactly he was saying and it got worse every time.
I'm not crazy about everything Bush does, I think he's done a lot of good things as far as fighting terrorism. Domestic actions such as the Medicaid prescription drug mess and now benefits for illegal aliens I just can't support.

 

I think they were making fun of Bush during his campaign in 2000 before he was the most watched figure in the world.

Not taking sides here. All politicians are crap.

 

I'm sure they were. The main thrust was that Bush just wasn't the intellectual giant that Clinton was, although he does seem intelligent enough to keep his pants on at the office.
I've known some really smart people without a lick of common sense. Clinton certainly had some issues in that department.
Between he and Bush, though, he was definetly the better public speaker.
