My best friend Jack got mauled pretty bad today by 2 pit bull mixes. My two were leashed, and his two were as well.We kinda met on a blind corner on the trail. I pulled mine back as far as I could, and one of his got loose. My standard yorkie is probably the only reason Jack is still alive. Jacks in surgery right now, expected to make it.Has two huge puncture wounds in his back, and his right hind quarter is a mess. This dog has never hurt anything, and breaks my heart he got hurt. I considered shooting the dogs, but the guy was too busy beating the shit out of them. Bill so far is at $650.Waiting for him to get into recovery. This was a pic of him just yesterday and Yoshi
Poor little fella. I'm disgusted with hearing about fucking pittbulls attacking other dogs. I'd have shot the fucking things anyway. A dog that does that shit can never be trusted. Hope he feels better real soon.
Because “pit bulls” are the only types of dogs that attack....right. Dude needed to realize how strong his dogs actually were. Sorry about your dog man...hopefully it all works out for all that we’re involved and no one has to loose their family pet because if this.
I didn't say anything close to that. But they sure as hell are more often than any other breed. And a lot of owners have a pittbull because they think it's badass. Most of the owners I see around here are punkass youngsters with a bandana around their head with the knot in the front and their pants below their ass. Fuck them and their dog.
Oh leave off, both of you, won't you? There is a thread in the Dungeon on the topic. Hugs to Jack and his pal Yoshi.
I will agree with your assessment of the group of people referenced and their primary choice of breed. I’ve seen the opposite, my best friends Yorkie bit me on two occasions, unprovoked and drew blood. I knew he was a bitchy little dog and paid him no attention but randomly came out of no where and got my hand. On the opposite end, I used to have a friend with a pit bull that was the most awesome kid dog ever. He would do anything with them until he was tired then would go “hide” in his crate and nap. I think it’s an owner mindset issue most of the time however there are dogs that are crazy too.
Oh I've been around pb's that are great dogs but, at least for me I see, hear, or read more often about pb's anytime there is an attack.
Unless the dog is a religious or political figure, I don't see the need to discuss it in the dungeon. But thanks anyway.
Back to the topic, I'm so sorry about your baby, I hope Jack makes a full recovery. They are our fur kids.
