Get a WERA guy to go look at it, if it's cool wire that guy the money and have him pay for it and pick it up. Then take the WERA guy out for H&B when you're in town to pick it up.

I have travelled all over the country to buy cars and bikes that I really wanted. Done all kinds of payments, but lately the way I've gone is to either give a Paypal deposit like he is asking, take the full amount of cash in person, or the latest is to Paypal the full amount (less deposit if one is put down) while you are standing with the guy. Never had one problem on any transaction.

If I would have seen that GS before I bought my RS this past June, I'd have bought it!

And before I do anything I make sure to have a nice, long conversation on the phone with the person I'm buying from. I can usually tell by the tone of the conversation that things will go smooth; or not.

I found newer one at dealer a lot closer for $4250... Similar miles and condition. Gonna pass on this one.

Sounds great!

Like I said, I really love my 94 RS but I can see myself getting a GS one of these days. They kind of remind me of my old CJ7 in motorcycle form.

Yea, I'm trying to do a cross country trip eventually and go do some off road exploring. Just seems like a bike that can do anything you want comfortably and well.
