They all should come with that.....since they are all JUNK.
Took me a minute to do that math on that one. Well played.
So all the naysayers here would of course flat out turn one down if offered to them for free, correct? They seem to be doing very well in IMSA GTLM class.
Yep. I would. Won't be anything with a GM label on it parked in the driveway again ever. But that's just me.
Perfect choice. Is it the 10:1 die-cast model?
Clearly you didn't get it.
looks like they are all C7s...
Agreed on the trunk. Ditch that shit.
C7 is the last true corvette, IMO.
goodness, no. i'd take it. and have it for sale on the local classifieds before i got it home.
What the hell does that have to do with anything?
Just because something isn't worth buying to someone doesn't mean they wouldn't take a free one.
Wasn't there an earlier thread on this car, full of positive comments from guys in a circle jerk around a pic of this car? Why now nothing but hate? Reality v. perception? Is it really that bad or is just the fanboi aspect that bad?
The circle jerks realized the haters were correct.
I could give a rat's ass about the hate. I dig it so....
Let me expand on this a little. I've driven a Juke, bought and played a Gibson Firebird X, raced a 2002 Aprilia RSV Mille, bought a bicycle with an automatic transmission, built a mousetrap that uses a capacitive proximity sensor, owned a 1993 GSXr 600 with purple neon lights all over it, and have lots of Dale Sr. memorabilia. I don't give a fuck what people think. Oh yeah, I've also owned a 2002 Honda VTX 1800. So there.
Drive one as it is off the showroom floor. Then drive any other car in that price range, off the showroom floor, and tell me you wouldn't have to do anything to "fix" the 'Vette, from crappy alignments to shitty electronics and substandard (for the price) fit and finish. Hell, I'd bet the steering wheel isn't even centered.
Couldn't have put it better myself.
I loved my C6 Z51. I bet I'd love a C8 too.
You lost me at VTX 1800.
Then take those cars in that price range to the track and start the stop watch. This base model is a mere platform for an epic ass-whipping that they are going to put on the rest of the segment in a price range that probably goes all the way up to double the cost of a loaded base.
They’re showing up on the streets more often, the ones I’ve seen, I like the way they look.
Buddy of mine has 2.
has multiple Ferrari, Lamborghini, Benz, plus countless classic cars.
he said as far as performance for price nothing comes close.
he drives the fuck out of all his stuff. I trust him more than some dudes in forums that can’t afford them and judge them
