Yeah some of them are very retarded.. like 20k! They have damn near doubled in price in a year. Maybe thats they the two tone rootbeer's are working for me now, they haven't gone up nearly as much and you hardly ever see one. Hell I don't think I've ever seen one on someones wrist.
It has to be perfect. I think I have a plan. Mike has an idea to modify the Seiko hand that migh work. He says your watches are there and he's working on them. That's the only info I got.
@Dave K if you go GMT stick with your gut and get the 1675. I love my 16710, but a few months ago I was at the SD airport and heard a guy next to me say, "nice watch". I turned to say thanks and noticed an OG pan am on his wrist. Something about the classic watch made me almost embarrassed of mine. It's just so clean and utilitarian.
Sorry, misread it. I thought you were selling it not already sold it. Thanks be to gawd, I don't have to find the money now.
I have a 16700 that I've had since 2003. Recently considered trading it for a brand new Air King that my brother had, but thought better of it. My thought was that no one seems to like the Air King so it might be worth real money down the road, but who wants to wait 20 years to see if I was right
Joined a kickstarter last year, and the watch showed up today. 40mm wide 10mm high Overall, it wears very similar to the Seiko SKX007 I have Came with the Milanese band, a rubberized one, as well as two NATO straps. Technical Details https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/the-unique-automatic-all-around-watch#/ And the photo.
Bought my first quartz watch in over 15 years and it showed up today (I guess I'm a watch snob - and I like the "tick-tick" sound of mechanical watches).... Always flirted with the idea of getting one of these.... It's super sweet.... just like Nicky! t
I know they might have a bit of a bad rap here (I think?) but I saw this Invicta Venom Reserve Hybrid in the case and had to get it. Its a seriously burly watch. Probably heaviest in my arsenal at the moment, pic doesn't quite do it justice
Yeap, I'm no fan of them but if you dig them, that's cool. Just because I'm a whore for IWC and FP Journe doesn't mean I don't like G shock or Tissot.
Im so glad G-Shocks came up. I'm like mongo and been wanting one. Who do we go to for the best price on them? It's crazy how much they vary in price depending on the gadgets on it. Ride safe, AAron
I went from none to 4 G-Shocks over the last 2 years or so. 2 of them are great, the ones with digital displays. The other 2 have regular hands on them and they are basically useless as a timepiece. Especially at night, their illumination is worthless and you can barely discern the time at night....they basically collect dust now. That's really the only piece of advice I'd give on them is stick with the traditional (for G-shock) digital number display'd ones.
