Im so pissed at flat track....
I lived 10min from Dixie for damn near a decade. And then 3 weeks before I move, they start hosting national flat track races there.
    Typical.

    Y'all have fun

What is pit access like at these events? Thinking about coming out and taking some photos. Thanks!

Imagine a gravel parking lot with a thick clay haze hovering over and all over.... with the sounds of the Thumpers and V Twins it’s a thing of Beauty....

    Definitely wear white linen.

And sit right on the fence near the exit of turn.

And take before and after pics.

Been to plenty of sprint car races, just curious how pit access works. Only when the track is dead are you allowed in? Allowed in the infield during races? Etc.

pits are basically outside the track on the far side from where you usually come in. Not sure as I had passes last year when I was there, but I am pretty sure you can get in and out any time.

fantastic racing, if you are anywhere within a few hours drive it's worth going to spectate. racers are awesome, my daughter came with me last time (she was 10) and she had a great time meeting the riders and getting autographs.

Of course i'm out of town that weekend, pissed that I'll miss it.

Last two years they have a fan walk / autograph time between practice and opening ceremonies. Then fan access after the mains. The rest of the time you need rider/crew/media creds...

Right. That’s what I would need. Anyone want to put me on their crew? Just saying! New down here in GA...

If my AMA Membership isn't good enough (It was at Indy) to get in the pits then I expect the VIP Passes Rob!!

Note: I don’t expect a free pass, would compensate someone who can help me out. Thanks!

If you have an AMA card I believe you can buy a pit pass at the track. Otherwise you have a couple options-

Pitt Access- must be ama member plus buy pass
No ama card- I think you can join at track then buy pit pass
Don’t wanna do that then buy regular ticket and come to fan walk. You still get into pits for like hour or so.
