Wow, great experience, thanks for sharing. Been in lots and lots of pits and “back in my day” nobody was ever purposely hurt and everyone picked up others and made sure to take care of one another. Best pits were Tool, as it’s the best music made. Biggest coolest pit was Beastie Boys for Sabotage, very unexpected as I didn’t even care for them... the entire grass area of an outdoor amphitheater. Must’ve been 50k people in it.
I definitely feel like tool should be on the list…. But I look at them as a body of work and not individual songs. They’re just masterful composers
Agreed, I had to look and see which songs were out when and was like yeah... all tool rocks... I’ll leave it
Had RATM on the other day and the office kid (26) was teasing me saying I was listening to "oldies" lol. Young punks.
Sinead O’Connor - nothing compares 2 u Verve - bittersweet sympathy Oasis- wonder wall Radiohead - creep Pennywise- same old story and Bro Hymn Bad Religion - 21st century (really, just buy against the grain and listen to the entire thing, on repeat).
