None of us “Remember” her like you do but yeah I think we’re familiar with her work..., so is every Golden Corral on the interstate system
At least the Cure, Smiths, Violent Femmes, Morresey, and Joy Division haven’t been brought up as “best” where is @pickled egg anyway?!?
Someone brought up Darude and Paul Van Duke, Prodigy crossed into electronic... Tiesto, Okenfold, VanBuren, Guetta, damn different when worlds collide... and F man... some White Zombie and PM5K rocked too!
Dude, her version is so much better then Prince’s... only other song sung by not the writer that comes close is Johnny Cash when singing NINs Hurt
Go on with your bad self, Stewart Stevenson, but you can’t forget all those nights of listening to Winger while watching for an image of boobs on scrambled Cinemax.
I’m not a country fan, well, not of my generation at least, The Outlaws, Waylon, Willie, Johnny, Kris, Hank, all the original Blue Grass boys... but when Garth Brooks was at his peak there was some tolerable country being played I thought, like his Low Places album or whatever...
Jump Around - House of Pain Scooby Snacks - Fun Lovin’ Criminals Thunder Kiss 65 - White Zombie Nookie - Limp Bizkit They catch a lot of flak but Wes Borland is really creative and has great tone IMO
duuuuuude… Paul van dyke and darude!! I was never suuuuper into trance. Tiesto and oakenfold didn’t really catch my fancy until they started doing house music in the 2000’s OOOH INSOMNIA BY FAITHLESS
Hey Hondo, check out the O’keefe Music Foundation. It’s a cool free kids music camp where they teach kids and make videos of a bunch of the music we’re discussing. I think you’ll get a kick out of it.
Saw Tiesto in Amsterdam in 97 at a tiny club when I didn’t even know what EDM was... I wasn’t into it at all then, or for quite awhile later.
