Yeah.... But they got rid of Apple and Ginn. Those guys really suck. I love that apple was cut loose like 2 months ago and he hasn't been signed yet.
Agreed - both were welcome casualties - Apple especially. Luckily Winston signed for rock bottom - 1.1mill after signing bonus - that's like a smidge above your average punter earns so in that case - no harm in bringing him on board. Now that my Cowboys signed AD yesterday I'm hoping they cut Dak and let the Ginger run the show in his native Texas!
For what it's worth...I was never a Whitney Houston fan either no matter the resemblance... https://bleacherreport.com/articles...-backup-would-wait-for-starter-to-get-injured
I'm a lifelong Bucs fan and I'm generally in the minority on this next statement. I think Winston has the tools to be an excellent QB. The arm talent is there, and at times he orchestrates a beautiful show. Sitting behind an experienced, all time great will be great for him, like young quarterbacks used to do before the instant gratification state that is today's NFL. He's never learned from a great quaterback. He learned watching MIKE GLENNON, ugh. Also, like any other loyal Bucs fan, I can tell you that the guy was always squinting like he couldn't see. I used to joke to my brother (also a lifelong Bucs fan) about it. Winston got surgery to fix his vision this offseason. If he can learn from Brees, then the Saints or his follow on team will be getting a much better quarterback. Also look at his stats up to this point of his career vs the stats of Manning/Favre and you'll be quite surprised Just my $0.02
If I were his advisor, I would tell him to do what Winston did. Sign for peanuts behind someone great like Brady/Tampa, Rivers/Indy, or Rogers/GreenBay. Spend a year learning from an all time great and hit the market next near in a league starving for quarterbacks.

I haven't been following this, but is this the same Antonio Brown who was in all those TV commercials?
