How did I miss the Jake Gagne Attack Yamaha announcement? Was that recent? Knew about Cam, but not Jake.
Yes, very recent, October 21, 2019! https://www.roadracingworld.com/new...nd-jake-gagne-for-2020-motoamerica-superbike/
That was my thought too... seems more like 3 buddies sharing a canopy than anything else. I feel like the whole point of having a team is to share data and spares and set up etc.
Auggie Dawgie is probably providing logistics (transport of bikes and equipment), some pit assistance and basics, the rider prove their bikes and cash. Three different brands of scooters would be insane as a team. Parts logistics (getting spares for three entirely different bikes and brands) would be a nightmare.
I am assuming this list is the SBK whole season entries only - some of the SSTK boys are not listed - Lee and Dumas for instance
Half of the field is the SBK Scholarship entries (Stock 1000 spec bikes being allowed to also race in SBK).
Lee is not allowed to race Stock 1000 anymore and I believe Dumas is only racing Stock 1000, not the SBK Scholarship. There’s a few more guys racing Stock 1000 only.
From what I understand PJ is doing the SBK Scholarship, racing Stock 1000 and then racing his Stock 1000 bike in SBK.
It will be interesting to see if JL was Pedrobot level beat up and mentally done forever or if he still has the fight in him. On a Yamaha, he could still win if he's mentally there.
