He's won a Moto 2 race. Ask Herrin or Sofuoglu how easy it is.

If you're in MotoGP, you're a world class racer.

Agreed. He found that comfort that he needs with the Duc when they brought the revised “fuel tank”.

Dovi has become a great rider but he still lacks that last 1% that Champions have. Not to say he won’t win a championship but it will be because of mistakes vs dominance. Dovi should have tried a pass on Marc at Mugello.

I’d have to look back on my posts(Papa I’m sure can help) but I think I said Lorenzo wouldn’t win a race. How wrong was I and many many other people. When Lorenzo is comfortable, watch out. It’s only a matter of time. Hopefully Honda know that.

The fact that they’re sending him to HRC is a pretty good sign that they’re serious about helping him. I can’t remember them doing that for any other rider in recent history.

Well he did manage to qualify in front of a few guys at Misano that would be faster on Vespas than most of us would be on Superbikes...

He’s still good enough to make the grid, even if he finishes dead last he’s still there. That’s an accomplishment every single racer on this board would gladly make if they could.

This. Being last place in the "best in the world" class is still good. I would imagine he would make people look really silly if he decided to show up at a National level race. I would love to be as "shitty" as him...

Hanging on to the bike is not the issue, he’s looking for a way to handle to braking forces in a way that makes it comfortable for him to race in his style for the entire race.

Does anyone remember those "rocket pillows" they used to sell in the back of cycle world and other motorcycle mags? Its was a wedge shaped piece of foam that sat on the top of the tank so you could lean against it on long rides. Maybe Joregay needs one of those?

Maybe he needs one of @Anchovie rockets to help keep him centered?

Missiles, not rockets. I'm sure he already has several....

He is retired now and has lots of time on his hands to “experiment”

Lawn Dart Difficult. With a big D.

It sounds like its just the braking... I wonder how many of us could handle those forces on a MotoGP bike for the length of a race at Mugello?
