I doubt that unless there was a performance clause in his contract. Screwing him and litigating on a few million isn’t worth it to a company like Ducati. Wouldn’t do good for their reputation either. It’s a shame they broke up. Lorenzo became an animal on that Duc at the end and would be legit challenging Marc if he were still on it. You guys are looking at this the wrong way I think. If Lorenzo can work the Honda as well as he did the Duc at the end, who gives a shit if it takes a whole season to get there? Jorge might need a very specific setup and time, but I can’t see that anyone else on the grid is capable of what he is. Other than Marc. Yeah they could’ve put a Cal on it and he’ll start getting podiums and top 5s quick and regularly, along with rides through the gravel and 1 or 2 wins per season in strange circumstances. That’s probably right where he’ll level off the rest of his time on the bike too. Jorge might be nowhere at first, but if he has some time he is going to regularly challenge for wins.
You funny Which end we talking about? He had 4 good races in the middle, while most of the season was bollocks.
Cal is on the same spec bike as the Repsol team so there wouldn’t be any difference in performance. Jorge is now on his way to HRC headquarters in Japan in an attempt to fix his ergonomics problem
I see your civility meter is broken again. I thought it had warmed up up where you live? Mosquitoes? It will still take George doing well to drive the muzzle, so hope persists...
I see your condescension continues unabated, despite having your ass handed to you and "going silent" yourself with nary an acknowledgement that you were full of shit. I, however, didn't expect a change in your "personality".
LOL! No, seriously, LOL! (Glad I had finished chewing when I read Black Kettle Tea Pot burst) As you were (always!)
