If the "poor" can sign up for SNAP and EBT they can take their ass out and get a picture ID to vote. Unless by "poor" you are referring to homeless people then sure, but we both know that's not who you're talking about.

You're not a Democrat, you just spout off all their laughable talking points. o_O

Voting in the USA is a joke- plain and simple.

USA, needs a Voter ID card- with a password.

When I moved from TX (worst thing I ever did BTW), on the trip getting gas our CC was denied. We called, and I had already put in my new zip code in WI on the card for the move. I didn't have it memorized yet, so it took a few minutes on the phone, but we got gas.

Now if a private company can know when and where I've used my card, in what state, in real time; why can't the US Gov't. do something similar, and only grant it to citizens and non felons, etc.? WTF? If they know if I've used my card twice- as in voting in two states, counties, etc. Why can't out F'ed up Govt. do the same? Any yes, I do know the answer to this- that's why it's so f'd up!

This paper and pen crap has to go away in every state, polling place, etc.

Because states control the voting process. It basically says as much in the Constitution.

There is nothing in the Constitution that says felons, even ones currently serving their sentence can’t vote. There is nothing saying non-US residents living here can’t vote. Only state law.

So it would take an amendment to the constitution to make those sorts of changes. Note that I would like to see it happen, but also pointing out that it never will.

Sorry folks but the demographic time bomb we are sitting on doesn't have a blue wire to cut. "Democratic" Socialism is a forgone conclusion and we take a step closer to it with each gimmegrant that crosses.

The Constitutions refers to citizens when it addresses voting, not residents. There is also a federal law which expressly prohibits non-citizens from voting.

He screwed up playing at being Trump in the primary I think. He could have done better in the real race if he hadn't looked so crazy in the beginning. Even if his ads did make me laugh :D

So I am curious - is Beto really a hispanic nickname of some sort? Never heard it before this guy.

I seem to recall it being used by hispanics but can't put it to his name, Francis. It is a simplification for 'berto as in Roberto according to wiki.

    Short form of Hilberto.
I have a friend who goes by Beto, but we call him Beh-hin-de-ho, which is a cross of Beto and Pendejo.

I'll bet folks were saying the same kind of thing when the Irish were "invading". Doom and gloom! The impending destruction of our fine Republic, diluted by the Hibernian hordes.

Could be but I am 100% sure the Democrats lost their minds the last time we tried to take away their source of slave labor.

"But who will pick our cotton?"
"Do you want to pay twice as much per bushel?"

    Fine people indeed.

Did the Irish ever form a mob that broke laws and vandalized property on the way to illegally crossing the United States border, or did they legally immigrate?

Well first off this is a federal requirement that the states follow, in the NVRA of 1993. Which was passed by a democratic congress with a democratic president.

Second it doesn’t prevent anyone from voting, they just have to register in any of the very easy ways, and then they can vote again.

They immigrated legally, then formed a mob and vandalized property.

Yes it is a nickname usually given to someone named Roberto. Pronounced RO-bear-toe. Then take bear-toe and that gets shortened to beto.

I’m hearing more and more about Hilary running 2020.

Are the Dems REALLY this dumb.

Honest question for the Dems here and not being a smart Ass.

Do you feel she would be a better choice and would you vote for her again?
