Tonight starts the run for 2020. What's you call?

I am sure that the only thing that keeps Oprey out of the White House is if she does not want to go through the trouble.

She's the perfect candidate at this juncture:

    No political history.
    Well known.
    Woman.
Has a platform of giving shit away.
Will get 70%+ of Republican women's vote.
Will get the regular Dem vote.
Cannot be aggressively attacked, duh -- woman.
    And, she's a woman -- it's our turn.

She also stumped for GA Govenor hopeful Stacey Abrams who is getting thumped right now.
    So there's that...
She won't run. And thank God. She knows nothing about politics.

The "no political history" is a bit of a stretch.

Charles Manson is/was well known too..

If she only tossed her O.W.N. money, then why would she want the job? :D

She's as experienced as Brak. No, she's more experienced, because she has actually dealt with a wider variety of people for many years. She knows how to push buttons and tell people what they want to hear.

And, no you can't tie her to any bad vote anywhere, so there's that.

Walk into a room with 10 women and see if you can find one that doesn't respect her. Good luck with that.

She may be too rich to want the job. It depends on her desire for a legacy, blah blah blah.

Oh...she's infinitely more qualified than Barry the community organizer. That point I'll give you. She's self made and wildly successful. I remember when she was a newscaster in Baltimore when I was a kid.
I have nothing against her. Just don't want her to be president. She leans left. I don't.

I have that whole statist, socialist agenda against her.

I forgot about the self made attribute....she's going to make the Reagan / Mondale contest look like a close race.

Beto? He did just give Ted Cruz a run for his money, 3%. In fucking Texas! Probably Veep material but who knows anymore. All that said if the Democrats were smart they'd nominate him (or someone like) as speaker, but they'll screw it up with ol Nancy.

How are they going to nominate Beto for speaker? He's not a member of the house...or any chamber of government thankfully.
I do agree this isn't the last we'll hear from him. Soros is probably boarding his jet right now to go rub his feet and drop off a big bag of cash to launch his 2020 campaign for president.
I'm also betting Trump nicknames him Bozo O'Rourke in short order.

And that race will likely be 5ish points in favor of Cruz once all the vote is counted.

All the Californians fleeing the shitstorm they made of that state are moving to Dallas/Austin/Houston and voting up the same shit they just fled.

Texas ain't what it used to be.

Yep. Texas definitely has changed since I first started coming down to work in the 90's. And it has definitely gotten alot worse since I moved here 13 years ago. There are few things more annoying than hearing someone say "well in California we...". Well then move the fuck back.

Not sure if you have been in Austin lately but it looked like probably 1/2 of the houses had Beto signs. I guess "free shit for all" resonates with some people. Especially the people who are not smart enough to understand that the money needs to come from somewhere... It is too bad that more Americans did not pay attention to international politics. Canada is currently going thru an experiment where they elected a hip young, photogenic idealist that wears funky socks as Prime Minister. It is not going well for them...

FB_IMG_1541596904217.jpg Seems like democracy to me...
Define irony: A candidate running against the 2nd amendment using an armed terrorist organization to intimidate voters.
She's hateful idiot and I hope she goes away sooner than later.

I think Beto will be a force to be reckoned with in the future. Pair him up with Amy McGrath, another Dem that almost broke through in red as can be Kentucky and I think you'll have a pretty formidable duo.
