It never made much sense, even after the internet and I could read the lyrics...

Nobody can explain those lyrics. Until I had a chance to read the lyrics I thought it was "Wrapped up like a douche"

 

There was a Seinfeld episode about this.

 

Everyone did but, Wrapped up like a deuce don't make any more sense. Is he talking about a doody.

It is "Revved up like a deuce" (as in a little deuce coupe)

 

That's right, my bad. That's the only part that makes sense as a line but in the context of the song

I guess it's all explained when he says he tripped a merry-go-round. That song has to be the result of many drugs

 

I don't care what a lyrics sheet says, I'll always hear "wrapped up like a douche..."

It's got a good beat and you can dance to it. Not me though, I got two left feet.

 

The original Springsteen lyrics are "Cut loose like a deuce"

 

Even The Boss admits that MM had to change it to a song about feminine hygiene products to make it a hit

 

More importantly, what does "make my anus curly-wurley" mean?

Edit: I guess the meaning is fairly obvious. I just wonder at the artistic choice of putting that in a pop song.
