Speaking of freezers, anybody know if somebody sells a 12V cooling unit you can plug in a power outlet in and drop in a cooler?
Probably worse. The chemicals in the plastic leech into the water. They act like estrogen in your body. http://www.drsoram.com/soft-plastic-water-bottles-contain-estrogenic-chemicals/
I have a Coleman 12v cooler I got at Walmart for about $70. It won't make ice but it works pretty good to keep refrigerated items cold. It'll pay for itself in ice and food savings in no time.
Gatorade bottles. You do road side pick up for charity (or because you're incarcerated) avoid gatorade bottle full of the green. and avoid the buckets of any size, those are worse.
I have a scar on my thumb from one of those. Long story, but when I was a kid my dad drove a truck. My little brother and I were with him and we're waiting at a truck stop for a load or something. We found a Gatorade bottle (this was the 80's when they were still glass). I don't remember how but we broke it and I ended up cut.
Seriously, do you pull over every time you have to pee? I've heard of guys rigging up a system with a funnel and a tube so they don't have to stop.
Miracle you didn't get hepatitis or worse. I was mowing on the side of a road where trucks would sometime park back in the 1600s and Used to hit "surprises" with the stand on at least once each time. I refused to do it anymore after I hit a catalytic converter shield and tore my arm open from wrist to lower elbow.
The only way I can answer that is to say that it is against company policy to have any urine containers in the truck.
