The "giving advice" was my joking reference to you saying that I don't want you to "tell me who I am." I didn't actually think you would give me any useful advice.

I am old enough to remember when that joke was only 2 or 3 generations old.

 

Interesting perspective. The looters / rioters are supposedly a small percentage of the protesters. The majority stood by and let the criminals destroy the area, even though it made them all look bad. If you are not a willing accomplice to the destruction why would you let people tear up where you live?

 

What should have the peaceful protestors have done to the violent criminals?
