Call again and tell them you're thinking of switching to directv because of this, they will normally offer you the package you want and lower your bill. you may have to be transferred to the retention department.
This. I was actually going to switch from Direct to Dish but figured I'd call Direct to see what they could do. They beat the deal Dish had by 5 a month with a tad bit better package.
Thanks again for getting this done John!! They are doing a good job. I love the on bike cameras. Can you tell them to add the lap count. Kinda sucks not knowing what lap they are on.
I noticed this too, but I kinda think it's too late for the current series. As they used to say "the film is in the can"
Last night I learned that the show looks way better on Dish than it does on DirecTV. It has to do with the way DirecTV compresses it from hi def to standard def, it makes several logos and the running order scroll get fuzzy even though the show as delivered is crystal clear. Lap count comments noted for future use. Having said that, overall I am proud of the shows, especially the effective use of on-board cameras! Please tune in every Thursday for more installments; next Thursday will be Pro Superbike from Sonoma!
Loved watching the race. Only thing that I noticed is there was no lap counter in the screen. The running order was awesome but would suggest a lap counter. Well done!!!
John, loved the Fontana broadcast and can't wait for Sonoma. Being in the industry before I really appreciate the awesome work done by your pros to make the first recording as good as it was. Shots of the race, audio, production, direction, edits all first class. Bravo!!! But until you can keep 'em on slicks in the rain you will never compete!
