What is the latest on Sat and Sunday at VIR, thinking of driving in from Memphis to race sunday. I know there are no certainties but curious about how it looked and felt. Thanks Joe B

  2. Just come on over. The racing will be fun regardless. Even if it does rain, it is just water.

And if my bike was together and I was there that's exactly the time I'd run it (lightning excluded).

i not traveling far with gas at 3.50 a gallon and if it rains a race get canceled there was 10 to 15 people pitted around me that drove between 10 to 15 hours to get there and NO RACE . Now that F,n sad . im mean what would they have tried to blame it on if no rain All i got out of the riders meeting was they saved them selves 5 grand by packing it up and not having a race its that simple , i was there

I agree people who are/were there have every right to complain. I was one of them. It's 8 hrs for me... My remarks were to the people who will complain but were not there...
Ok back to driving home for me.

    Ride safe,
    AAron

Drove 6.5 hrs, got to race 2 solo`s in good weather on saturday. I`ve no problem with the call. It`s pretty black & white, WERA or any other business dosen`texist to lose money. The 5 grand they saved today is probably half of what they lost. Maybe they should put a premium entry fee to race at premium facilities?
