CMP is awesome... Yes the bump is still there on the mid straight however 75% better than before the repave. Management is cool as shit... World Class Kart Track with lights for PM fun and they even built a new Dog Park behind the bathrooms. New RV Hook ups on the back side as well. Last couple years it was packed for AHRMA.. I think that can be said for any track that's in the middle of nowhere. When I broke my both my hands at Jennings we went to Valdosta hospital... I just chose to take the 6-hour ride home before I let those guys do anything.
We live south of Columbia. Our yard is just like CMP, only less hard packed. We're 1:30 away. We have several places here where you buy, sand. By the truck load. Not pick up, 20'+ sized trucks. My family lives on the west side of Columbia, it's all hard packed clay and rocks. They live an hour away. Crazy place.
for the record, I like that track a lot. I consider it and RRR on a similar level. Below the "prestige" of Road Atl and Barber, and above Tally. I've enjoyed both layouts on many different bikes.
