How do they fit? I wear a Large Arai RX7 and am wondering about the Suomy. I've heard they fit a little on the tight side. Is this true?
Yes. I wear a Small Arai Corsair and a medium RR4. In a Spec 1 I wear a large. I could wear a medium but with the maount of hair I'm flying right now it'd be a tight fit. I love my Suomy's. I also love my Arais.
You mail ordering it? Call Suomy with your head size to make sure it's right and they're cool and will help you out with sizing. I'd hate for you to have to go through a lot of crap because it's too lose or too tight.
I was looking at this one . Not my first choice, but not bad. I have a nickel sized rash on my RX7- Corsair and don't think it will pass tech. It sucks, I just bought it for $495 and now it's toast

DO NOT buy the helmet without trying it first! I think Suomy's are the worst fitting helmet made. They suck for me, the paint jobs are cool and that's all. Shoei X-11 was made for my head.

I'd agree with him on getting a fitting but I find the Soumy to fit my perfectly normal and damn sexy Arai head damn near perfect.
RX73/ RX74/ Corsair noggin (so Quantum). My only complaint about Suomy is that it's not Snell but it is BSI and Snell would only add to it's weight. It only took me one wearing to be convinced on Suomy.
Dave, I sell about everything, and I don't want to start trouble with Gary. Edmund, that looks like last year's model, but I won't swear to it. I like this place. I'm not pushing anything. Whether you buy from me or someone else, I can check to make sure your deal is a good one. Now if you price Gary and then PM me, don't expect me to try to underprice him; I won't. In fact, if I find out someone is trying to work some of us against each other, I probably won't sell to them. I've got too many friends here.
