I take big complex heavy things and put them in the air. Rigging, automation, fabrication, operations and a lot of training new people not to kill anyone or maim themselves.

Bull! Carps keep their feet on the deck. It’s the riggers that make it fly (when they aren’t busy walking on water, that is).

 

I always laugh at guys that try to "look cool" with the "mac daddy" look - and then they all look like they buy outfits from the same place and subscribe to the same magazine for beauty tips. I hope they can at least play their instruments well.

It's like all the hipsters and their beard care products, sandals, and thick framed glasses.

 

Rigging is considered part of carpentry. Same with flyrail.
