At least their ticket prices are reflective of a cover band. There's a new concert venue near me charging $150 for GA and $250 for VIP for cover bands + fees+parking. Camping is $200/night for no power, no hookups. This place is in sticksville not near a big city. I suspect they won't be in business long....

I was talking to a dude I knew who booked tours for rising bands playing large clubs and into small areas and the complaints he had were insane. Funniest was the tour buses or more accurately, the lack of them and if you can find one, the costs.
“Why not buy a sprinter or two and a trailer?” I asked.
“You think we didn’t try that?!?!” He came back with with a lot of profanity added. “Can’t find any and if we could can’t afford the insurance and can’t find drivers.”

haven’t spoken to him in awhile but one or two of the tours went out with (what I can remember) 1 or 2 canceled or delayed.
