Sorry to report that Shaun Harris (IOMTT) was injured on lap 4 of today's Superstock race at the Isle of Man TT. It was initially reported on radio that he crashed but with no injury information. A later broadcast announced that he is in hospital with 30 broken bones. Please keep Shaun in your thoughts and prayers. He and I met yesterday afternoon after I took him up on a room he offered at his house for the TT weeks. He was in good spirits this morning before the Superstock race and really looking forward to the Supersport race tomorrow. I've tried to reach Shaun and/or his crew on their mobiles but nobody is answering at the moment. When I have more information I will post it here.
ok, so there are like 30 bones in the human hand, right... so maybe it's not as bad as it sounds?? Pulling for you Shaun!
wow, 30 broken bones, not a bad tally, he has 176 still intact. Seriously though, I hope he mends up, that sounds like quite a crash.
This is all I could find on the web Anstey's fellow Kiwi Shaun Harris, however, suffered a serious accident in the race and is believed to have sustained multiple fractures. http://www.iomtoday.co.im/tt?articleid=2928735
