    Just grabbed this off one of the bike sites back in New Zealand from a family member. Prayers go out to Shaun and the family.


    Shaun is in the intensive care unit on life support, has had massive blood transfusions, and thats all the family knows as far, Thanks every one for your kind words of support for Shaun and the family,

    An update

    Shaun remains in the intensive care ward at Nobles hospital. He sustained several fractures and is in serious condition because of those injuries. He's been getting excellent care because of the doctors that are at the hospital for the TT. I won't post more on his medical condition because his family and others that know him better can do that here.

    Like britracer wrote, Shaun crashed on the entrance to Union Mills on lap four. It seems he tucked the front. He had been charging very on lap three after he moved up several positions.

    I'll pass on the best wishes and try to leave a printout of this thread for Shaun to read later. I'm meant to leaving Thursday morning and internet access is difficult as I'm using a web cafe but will try to post more info later.
