Odd-Ball Picture of the Day

Went into a Burger King in Portugal a couple of years ago and you could get a beer with your burger.

 

Burger King got Dairy Queen pregnant because he didn’t wrap his Whopper.

 

I understand what that graphic is trying to convey, but it’s a bit misleading. eg. If you try to shield certain beta-emitters using lead, the beta particle becomes a gamma particle as it slows down when it encounters lead nuclei. Radiation braking can fuck you up, son.

 

No surprise. They have the largest population densities, manufacture the majority of the worlds products, and the weakest environmental restrictions.

I was in the last 600 race they tried to run in the rain at Daytona. We got 2 attempts, then it was decided to postpone for a week.

 

I raced in 2019 with CCS during the rain.
Was fun...

 

I didn't know they still did that. I was talking 1995-ish.

I'm getting old.

 

Yeah, CCS still races. You should pay closer attention.
