Pace is pace and Mav didn’t do himself any favors with the poor start but Pedro didn’t help dive bombing him the entire race holding him from challenging the Marquez brothers. Hopefully Mav gets away clean tomorrow and keeps the upward swing going.

 

I was bummed for Fabio Q to not get that podium, but he fought as hard as he could.

You could tell by his body/riding style he was just in cruise mode when in 2nd. It wasn't if, it was when, and the when was whenever the hell he felt like it.

 

What is it with Pecco and sprints??

 

He’s stated many times that he doesn’t like the sprint gas tank and can’t get comfortable with it. Kinda like Lorenzo had issues with the tank and only started winning when they finally modify it for him.

 

I don't understand this. If he isn't comfortable with the "sprint" tank why not just use the GP tank with less fuel in it?

The gas tanks need to be different, sprint one with max aloud capacity X, and the race one with a max capacity Y. So the regulations enforcement staff doesn’t to go around looking at how many liters everyone has.
But still, move the gas weight until he “likes it”.

 

I'm not sure what your point is. We saw relaxed, fast Marquez today; he made it look effortless. The post you quoted me on was me responding to someone else saying he was on a "war path". Chill Marquez is fast Marquez.
