That shit ain’t happening as long as Gigi is around and Pecco basically has a 24 still. Difference is so does everyone else lol
How so? Many don’t tune in to motoE even though we pay for it. I watch every bagger race and know many others who do as well. I don’t know how it will be on the world stage but apparently the foreign race teams all loved watching them at Cota.
I don't get the bagger hate. Way more interesting than battery bikes. They are stupid fast for what they are. It's like watching those Euros race those 18 wheeler cab trucks, or whatever they are. There is good entertainment in racing things that by most measures, shouldn't be raced.
I thought the potato, potato comment was in reference to how Harley's exhaust notes are usually described as, "potato, potato." I don't either. I watched the races at Laguna during a Moto A weekend and it was a spectacular show and they sound good in race trim. And you're right, it is exactly like watching the 18 wheeler races... intuitively, you know that it shouldn't be happening, but it is! Honestly, I think the Europeans will enjoy the spectacle. I could see the German and Austrian crowds really digging it as well as the Japanese.
just saying the Assen crowd will be number one on the list for the Baggers they go crazy over the big trucks in Dakar...
Sounds brilliant to me. If he can spank everyone else on the planet on a bike that's unrideable, why would he bother trying to develop the bike into something on which others could compete? Diabolical genius. Assuming you buy into the whole "Marc can't develop a bike" nonsense.
I don't hate baggers, but I also don't love them. I like pretty much all kinds of racing where the competitors are riding machines designed for performance. I feel like the baggers are taking something that's not meant for performance and heavily changing them to be a racing-thing. I feel the same way about the Euro racing semis to be fair... not my thing. Personally I prefer MotoE over Baggers. MotoE does often provide close racing and battles like other classes. I'm sure baggers also provide close racing, but see the above comment why it is less interesting to me. MotoE is at least intentionally competitive / performance-focused racing machines.
What’s more interesting? Two super narrow MOTO E bikes late braking each other or going two wide in a one bike corner. Now imagine 2 four foot wide baggers doing the same thing.
I'm not into fat chicks either... Moto3 is almost always wildly entertaining and those things are tiny compared to GP bikes (or tinier yet compared to baggers).
Baggers are the shizz. At first you're like 'what in the Sam Hill' then after you see the racing you're like 'I want more of this.' I would like a change though, each bagger should have 6x9 waterproof boat speakers in the right/left luggage, blaring the team's favorite song throughout the race.
