my 2 cents. I seriously hope that is not the case. Baggers/2 wheel nascar gets bigger it seems. AS a side show it was interesting. But as it grows it sucks money out of proper racing. Just like nascar did. And I hope up and coming riders don't start aiming to be a pro bagger like most of open wheel drivers in the US ended up with nascar.
“Gillim has racing experience in MotoAmerica, MotoGP, WERA and American Flat Track and has wins or championships in almost every class he’s ever raced.” I’m all for fluffing your resume but that is a serious stretch.
I believe Hayden is doing double duty, he was already confirmed for superbike/stock1000 with disrupt https://www.cyclenews.com/2022/11/article/gillim-stays-put-for-2023/
You mean like Shaquille O'Neal bragging that he has won at every level in basketball except for high school and college?
Yup, just like those sideshow superbikes (aka diesels) "sucked" all the money out of proper two stroke based racing. All is lost. *gnashing of teeth* lamentations and sorrow. The end is nigh.
Moto America is a lot like the circus. Some go to see the high wire act, some go to see the clowns. I used to go and watch the elephants f@ck.
As someone who has seen this first hand with Open Wheel and sports car racing, I can tell you I ain't laughing
