I hadn't heard this until now. That's pretty cool and hope she's able to learn a lot and put on a show. EDIT: Wait, this is for CIV (not WSS).
dammit man!!!! you know you could fix the title for me so I can be partially correct… it’s a short trip to rarely from here 30 min bullshit…..
So, when did we get fact checkers here? Is being moderately correct the same as being mostly peaceful?
I'll tell you a little secret. My racing advice started to be a little bit irrelevant right when I got out of teaching. I was never much of a trail braker, mostly because we didn't have tires or suspension that tolerated that very much (at least on the production side). I doubt I could adapt to what the most mid-pack guy does these days, where they're using hard braking to the apex to help the bike turn on suspension compression. That said, I do still feel you should be brakes or throttle....it's just that these days they're still on the brakes waaaaaaay later!
I'm still happy for her, and she still gets a big thumbs up for putting herself out there for new experiences. Wondering how much the Ben is helping with guiding her.
yeah but you made an impression and I even repeated it whenever I was learning a new track and picking brake markers… if I broke too early and “coasted” to the apex I go hard until I blew the corner I liked cornerspeed too much on 600s so I had to learn to not waste time off the gas on a Superbike… handful of brakes and throw it down and wack it open and pick it up was fun too though… I don’t care what the rear is doing as long as I can feel my front the only one that ever really made me think wth? was Scott Russell talking about having to open the throttle while on the brakes to get the WSBK Kawi to turn…
thanks Fred… had to look up the scooby doo character names too… figured you’re more of a Fred than a Shaggy
