That crash was one of the few've seen, where I went, Oh Chit..nasty, glad the guys are o.k. for the most part, was scary...

 

After seeing where Taylor ended up he should be sending whoever decided to remove the MX track a bottle of his favorite libation. If that track was still there it could have been very nasty.

 

Don't they always remove the SX track, for that very reason?

 

Looked at a vid from 2009 and it looked like it was still there.

 

I thought Corey West had a good ride and showed some good things...

 

I think this year was the 1st (I could be wrong). Up until this year, the SX race was on Fri or Sat (I can't remember) during the 200 weekend....no time to remove it overnight.

Ok, that makes sense then. Although I disagree with there not being enough time. Probably has to do with $.

 

This is the first year the SX traack has been removed for the 200. Yes he was very lucky the track was removed.

 

+1 I was a bit concerned his bike was geared wrong at the beginning of the restart cuz he seemed to not pass anyone in the draft. Turns out, he was just laying low till the time was right.

Hope to see Corey on the box a bunch this year.

 

Sliding on his arse at 170 mph he could have cleared the triple jump that Stewart cased.

 

Yah but what if Dane cased it too.

 

I just watched the video five times. Josh came down on him. Not the other way around.

I know it's a scary situation and thank God they are OK.

That being said, I can imagine Nitro Circus doing this.

Take a snow disc sled and pull someone by rope (45mph) and try to clear a double.

They might be crazy enough to do it.

 

Just watched the video.. Westby was stone cold on his line while herrin banged into him twice to take his draft. IMO... Herrin needs to be fined. That was pretty clear in my view to be dangerous riding even at that level.

 

Josh in the heat of the moment proably said some words he did not mean both riders are clean when it comes to the racing . The real isue is AMA not Dane or Josh let it lie there is worst things going on in the world , have a nice day.

 

So the AMA caused this? Wow...

 

I have a feeling you wouldn't be saying this if you were on the other side of the incident.
