I certainly would think that there are legitimate grounds for legal recourse.

    What sayeth the beeb?

Nope, it's not a guarantee. They won't give you a guarantee.

  3. Nope. I was older when my dad had his and we talked about it. Like the Mongo said, it isn't a guarantee (they won't sign anything saying you are 100% sterile and will be forever).

They made him take a sample back and he was ok then, but they don't guarantee them for life. So you have no grounds or a lawsuit.

get tests every year just to check on my boys...it's a reverse pregnancy test.

and yes, my urologist was very clear that he wasn't guaranteeing shit.

  5. But if you have one, make sure they do ALL of the available prevention measures.

Once they are cut, some doctors will fold the ends back and staple them, some will take extra out to make a large gap, some will burn the ends of them. My dad said they did all of that to his. They cut a good bit out, burnt the ends and folded/stapled them.

He said the doc told him that the hospital can't give him a guarantee in writing, but with all of those meadures done, he said "off the record" there is no way he will be able to get somebody pregnant.

The missus has been on birth control forever and is approaching 40. I decided to go get it done. I'm 45 so I should have less swimmers on top it. Gonna get the laser one done

Had it done 8 years ago. Yes I did the followups. Never even considered or was informed about potential failure...

Taking a sample to the lab on Monday.

Darren isn't cut, so I make sure all of my side action is with people who are. That way he has no grounds to call me a hooor when I get knocked up.

Recanalization. It's a thing. The vas can grow back. You may be that 1% (okay less than 1%).
