The build is on. I got lucky and found a rossi 92 in a 357. Not what I wanted but couldn't find anything else anyone had in stock. Just ordered the handguard and stock, gotta figure out red dot and take it to the show and see what happens.

Note to you younger folks on here. As you get older red dots may start appearing in multiples or fuzzy in the viewer. Green dots do not appear to have this problem so I would go that direction. I have been replacing all my red dots with green because of this. Apparently has to do with astigmatism which I have never been diagnosed with. I know this has been posted multiple times but I think it's worth repeating to help folks not waste their money.

Well, I didn't know this but prefer the green anyway.

I’ve read a few articles that says our eyes pick up green better than red. I have both and seem to pick them up the same.

I have a Leupold Deltapoint Pro and a Holosun 507. Both red. The Leupold glass is amazingly clear compared to the Holosun, but the Holusun reticle is perfect all the way to max, and the DPP gets fuzzy if at all over about the 4th setting. I thought the DPP fuzz was due to astigmatism, but now not so sure.

I am still lost on this stamp approval issue. I still don’t have a stamp, still in submitted status. This is insanity to me, it’s been 8mo… how y’all are getting them back so quickly blows my mind

Whats the rush? So long as you submitted them before the deadline they are grandfathered as a pistol with a brace until the court cases are cleared up, keep shooting them and using them as normal. If you changed out the brace to a stock then swap it back until you get approval. I've never had anyone question either a braced pistol or an SBR.

Which form are we talking about.
    A: 1
    B: Amnesty 1
    C: 4

    He’s referring to an e-form 4, I believe.

I have read elsewhere that, for whatever reason, Silencershop e-forms, once the form 3 has been approved and the NFA item is at the local dealer - are taking longer than e-forms sourced from a LGS, to obtain approval.

Anyone else experience any perspective on this?

Just had three suppressors come through all in less than 70 days using the silencer shop kiosk at my LGS. For some reason a bunch of folks in Ohio got their stuff approved super quick. They actually went through quicker than my freebie SBR stamps.

When 4s were running a year I had one fall through the cracks. After several phone calls it got back on track with a total time of 18 months. Can’t imagine how long it would’ve taken without my persistence.
Lately through SS form 4s are running 4 to 8 months. No rhyme or reason.

Do yourself a favor and just forget about it.
Seriously, you'll twist your tail in knots trying to apply some logic to the ATF process, and there's really no logic as to "why"

At some point, you'll get an email from the ATF, or a call from your gunshop that you can make it / pick it up.

File, forget, forget, forget, forget, oh, Fun Surprise.

Mine is a form 1 SBR, non freebie pistol. A true SBR

I could understand (not really but you know what I mean) if I were going for a can, but this ain’t a can it’s just a 12.5” SBR.
