    SuddenBraking The Iron Price

STG can get you suspension bits at a very attractive price for buying new.

still around $500 for them. people putting their bikes back to stock to sell usually offload theirs for half that

Do people bother putting that level of effort in to offload Groms though?

they'll sell forks and shock for $300-$400
some of the easier bolt on stuff will get sold off and the bike will go back to stock. as you know, the aftermarket goods dont add value on the resale market.

I've been thinking of bringing it back to life too, I have been going to the Kart track with a Ninja 300 but it's like 3 hours away. Trying to find a parking lot where I can do some drills on the Grom.

I weigh 200 in gear so suspension is going to be a must- at least springs. What's the deal for suspension? Go full retard with the Carts and Ohlins shock? or?

Racing Bros seems to be popular with the Grom crowd. the cheapo amazon people get the YSS shock which isnt servable. Ohlins seems to be the choice of racers with Groms around the paddock. I have Ohlins in mine. Fork internals makes a huge difference as the OEM stuff seems to be sprung for a 130lb shemale from Taiwan.

The only answer to this is get the build sheet from Livengood for the @Gorilla George build, and do it better. :D

Yes. It's GROM. Do it right or don't do it at all.

I know you're right, but it's just annoying. Rearsets (needed for reverse shift), Shock, Carts, we're talking $1500 and I sold my pimped out KLX110 for that much! Too many goddamn projects going on.

On the visual alone, the Woodcraft rear sets were worth every penny of the price.
