is the 181cc kit too big to use without an oil cooler for street riding and pit bike use?

 

can't tell, i've ordered my 183 kit 5 years ago, came with oil cooler, still haven't installed it

 

5 years ago? i'm lucky if i can wait 5 days without installing new parts

 

when i bought it , i still raced the grom, so i didn't want the engine modded for rule purposes

then i bought a dirt bike, crashed a dirt bike, fixed a knee, had 2 kids, etc. etc.

the grom is somewhere on priority 37 on list 4

 

So let me have it to race!

 

if you decide to just unload it, let me know. i want to put the biggest bore i can get without using a cooler. already have the cam

 

i do kart tracks here in GVL every now and then with it

but now i also git a 85cc kit for the fiddy.

i just need to do it some time

Took a ride yesterday and ended up in New Hope, which is a big Harley and adventure bike cosplaying town on the weekends.

 

Not to derail the tread or anything but anyone try a YCF mini sumo? Look the part and the 190 is a 4V head I believe. Cheap.

 

Is the kawasaki z125 worth buying or is grom the only answer? I found a 2019 z125 I can pick up for 2500 all stock.

 

Z125 is great. In my market (San Francisco) that price would be a steal. I doubt you'll regret it.

 

U want to buy one with everything? Just point out to gorilla man that he has an 8 yr old bike and after the anxiety attack calms down you will get it for 350

 

does anyone put their Grom back to stock before selling? i was hoping to find someone selling an Ohlins shock. Possibly a big bore kit, but that's unlikely.
