I think it was just used as a justification of the sponsorship. All they did was discuss the "exposure" they got, not how many new people enlisted or re-enlisted during the course of this program.

Just my opinion obviously but given that I am a taxpayer and I have friends who either are or were in the military....

I would much rather see that money going to a team with active military or veterans involved in the whole aspect of it, including riding.
