Joe Gianotto (spelling?) with 16th. Blew a motor in practice, did a swap in about 50 minutes and made it out just in time for the siting lap. They shared a garage with me and are a great group of guys. Congrats to his whole crew!
What are the results? Barney won? I just got in from watching my daughter play her first Lacrosse game.
Hell yeah! Way to go Michael and congratulations to Sean and the crew. http://www.roadracingworld.com/news/race-results-from-the-75th-daytona-200-by-victory/
Glad to see Barnes take it he's so deserves it and he's flying the flag for all us older riders out there! Everyone that's so called old ain't necessarily ready for the vintage class in this
Narbonne is fast, I ran him a few times at Nola and he's gone by lap two on a 600 against me on a 1000
Congrats to Barney. Incredible job by Joey G.'s crew just to get him on the grid! Very inspiring ride by Art Kowitz as well. this is his 5th decade of racing at Daytona I believe.
Don't know if anyone else here noticed, but John Ashmead finished 20th. Yeah he was 3 laps down but, dude is still out there plugging away.
It was entertaining watching Barnes and Farrell trade positions every lap, but obviously that didn't last.
