87mg/L is 87/1000 for a percent. We do percent. Or 0.087% BAC which is not that hammered pre-MadMothers. If memory serves Michigan was 0.15% for drunk in the 70's, so impaired. Contrast that with the .25% that a drunk hit my folks then blew, borderline alcohol poisoning for most people (I think she was an expert level drunk)
Huh? US BAC is measured as milligrams per 100 milliliters, Spain does milligrams per liter. .05 BAC is not equal to .25mg/l, not sure how you got anywhere close to that....
If you have Pecco money and fame you don’t even bother with that shit. You just hire a bodyguard/driver/assistant permanently. That’s probably $200-300 a year max in Italy. What this incident will cost him he could’ve paid someone someone to do that for a decade.
He's 25. I'm sure nobody in here made stupid decisions around that age. Thankfully nobody got hurt and he's responded quickly.
This is probably two drinks worth of alcohol, but also high level athletes process food and drink pretty quickly. In my experience, they get “drunk” quickly and easily compared to normal folks. The laws are very strict in Europe, most people I know will not get behind the wheel even after having one with dinner.
The embarrassment of crashing a rental car in a roundabout for a professional racer should be plenty of punishment. I also would expect the police reported the BAC they decided upon.
I've been pulled over once for suspected DUI, around 22 years ago. I blew juuuust under the limit, and this was at around 10am the day AFTER a weekend canoeing (read:drinking). I had no drinks that morning, probably stopped around midnight. So....not impressed with a .087 Had to look up the current law: Ohio OVI (DUI) Laws: Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) Limits and Implied Consent "Per Se" BAC Limit 0.08 Percent Zero Tolerance (Underage) BAC Limit 0.02 Percent Enhanced Penalty (Aggravated) BAC Limit 0.17 Percent
sounds like another opportunity for HSBK to buy another world level rider for one year then dump them.
